But regardless of the counsel we receive from Eli, Anita, or anyone else...it is always our decision what we're going to do with it. *sigh* He knows what He's doing... But Samuel just wasn't getting it. So God had to bring a second person into the mix. I think it's also interesting that there's no record of God telling Eli what to say to Samuel.
