But, i'm always cautious--what is someone left a ladder in the middle of the aisle? what is the maintenance guy was moving chairs? Sometimes, we get so familiar, we run through the darkness and think we're invincible. and then, when we least expect it, we learn we're not invincible, and it hurts--sometimes for days and days (when we have a really large bruise on our left shin). I sometimes find myself thinking I'm a good guy and doing the stuff I need to do. But then I realize I have fallen into darkness. So I try to remember what Jesus said in Matt 6:22-23. The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body sahll be full of light. I came through the same door, with the lights off, and it occurred to me that I knew the room so well that I could walk to the back <b><i>very</i></b> quickly and not collide with anything. This is an interesting, yet true correlation with our faith. Definitely something to think about...now, excuse me while I go to my thinking chair...
