That's exactly how bands need to be my friend. It all works out when you're the only one in control...or playing an instrument...right...?

That was a great blog! I really liked the YouTube too. I think we all sometimes try to do things alone and that isn't what we are suppose to do at all.

I think 'working together' in teamwork, is something we have to really give ourselves to. it doesn't happen naturally, but we have to understand others opinions and thoughts. You do a great job leading us.

Thanks Jen. Hey i wanted to make an addendum to my post. I was reading in Romans 15 last night and this caught my attention:

"May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." (v. 5-6).

So basically that verse says that the Church (and worship team) should be united WITH THE PURPOSE OF WORSHIP. That rocked my socks off.

Yes, you do have a wonderful group of people to work with (even if I do say so myself!!), but you also do a really great job of encouraging us in our strengths and weaknesses. You take the time and have the courage to invite us to share with you what we like, don't like, and think about various issues. Most importantly, you give us a good example to follow in that we all know that: 1. personal time with God is THE priority in your life (and you encourage us with articles, conversations, etc to make Him the same for us) 2: each of us must live out our worship to God, not just on stage on Sunday mornings, but with our actions throughout our daily lives if we want to be true worshippers, and 3: you are truly committed to helping us work together in unity as a team (aka, it's not just something that sounds like a good idea...you plan things to help it happen!) Thanks for all you do to help the worship team you serve with be a weird group of people that actually blesses God and His church!!! :)
