Another vaulable reason we use MUSIC is because by its very nature, it moves beyond our minds. Music effects emotion. 

Do we worship God because of emotions? No. But we do worship God WITH our emotions. In John Piper&#039;s book &quot;Desiring God&quot; I think he hit the nail on the head when he said something to the effect of, &quot;True worship can only exist where FEELINGS [emotion] towards God exists. Without feelings towards God, worship is dead.&quot; 

Now is music the ONLY way for a large assembly to worship God TOGETHER? No, of course not. But its Biblical, historical, and practical. 

So maybe a good question is &quot;Does the STYLE of music matter?&quot; Hmm.... What do you think? I&#039;ll be writing more about that later.</description>
